So here it is! I actually came back to write something else. I did spend my entire day setting this thing up... I may as well get my use out of it.
It's after 11pm and I am not tired. I decided to write about Molly! She is the highlight of all my days. (Well...most of them!) She is super smart, beautiful, funny, and very observant. She is also 5! And the following traits also come with this super special 5 year old. Whining (oh my gosh, the whining!) selective hearing, whining, independence, stubbornness, and WHINING!!! Does it ever stop???? Here's the thing about Molly...she gets really excited about "going somewhere!" It really doesn't matter where, she just wants to go! Go to the library, go to the grocery store, go to walgreens, go to the gas station and get a "snack" (Molly LOVES to eat). Sometimes she says "Mommy, can't we just go to Janie's house?" Um...no Molly, we can't just show up at some one's front door because you are bored! It's a hard concept to grasp. In Molly's mind...everyone wants to see her! Today I made the mistake of casually mentioning that we needed to get her some new summer PJ's. She promptly responded with "can we go now!!??" No, not tonight. "Can we go tomorrow!!??" uggggg!!
As crazy as she makes me sometimes, she is a sweet girl and no matter how much we argue or butt heads in the morning (another thing about Molly...not a morning person) , she always runs to give me a big hug when I walk in the door from work. I never thought is was possible to care about someone so much. My family is what I live for. I look forward to the end of my work day so I can get home and see them. I think I may be the hardest person in the world, to live with! I am moody, stubborn, independent and crabby a lot of the time. (where do you think Molly gets it from?) My husband is a saint for putting up with me for 8 years! I would have kicked myself out a long time ago. Lucky for me, he is the "yin to my yang"! Cheesy I know...but so very true! He is the balance in my life and I couldn't live without him.
I love you babe!
